Dr. Rhodes really understands this disease and he has helped us understand it better. Knowing how to manage this disease is huge. Dr. Rhodes has helped us to identify triggers that will set off a flare-up. Needles, cold air, ice, loud or irritating noises, and magnets are just a few of the triggers that will set off a flare-up.
Dr. Rhodes uses a machine that he invented himself to treat neuropathic pain. It is amazing. This little machine has wires coming out with electrodes that stick to your skin. It is completely painless. First Nathan does a foot/leg treatment then he does a hand/arm treatment.
Knowing where to place the electrodes is one of the keys to this machine. Dr. Rhodes calls the placement of the electrodes a protocol. It took about 3 weeks of testing to find the right protocols for Nathan. Dr. Rhodes hooked up Nathan to a computer that measures his skin temperature and pulse. Then he began testing protocols. Eventually he eliminated ones that Nathan did not respond to and then improved upon the ones that he did respond to.
The other key to this machine is the beat-frequency. The beat-frequency is the electrical frequencies that the electrodes emit. It is also completely painless. After Dr. Rhodes identified the correct protocols for Nathan, he then had to test to find the correct beat-frequency. If the beat-frequency is off, the machine does no good. But, when you have the correct protocol and a beat-frequency that your body likes, then you have a powerful ally against pain.
So what a difference one month made. Before going to Dr. Rhodes we were losing our son. The best doctors and hospitals in America had our money, but they didn’t have a clue, and didn’t really even care. Dr. Rhodes gave us our son back. He is not only a genius, he is genuine. He doesn’t just provide a medical service; he takes care of my son. He doesn’t have an answering service. He gave us his home and cell phone numbers. And he answers the phone.
But this is not the end of the story. Over the last year and a half we have been back to Corpus Christi numerous times. You see not only does the machine have a beat-frequency; we also have a beat-frequency. And for some unknown reason, our beat-frequency is constantly changing. When our beat-frequency gets out of tune with the machine, then we must go back to Corpus Christi and be re-checked and have the beat-frequency adjusted. Sometimes we can go for several weeks or even a couple of months. But if Nathan gets injured it instantly changes and we will be on our way to Corpus Christi the next day for what we call a tune-up.
Now here is the other amazing thing about Dr. Rhodes treatment. Not long after Nathan was diagnosed we found that RSDS pain moves. And sometimes it is different. For the first several months Nathan’s RSDS pain was limited to his arms and legs. But all of the sudden it went into his back. That was very painful and it instantly put him back into the wheelchair. But Dr. Rhodes came through again. He had a back protocol for Nathan. And just like that, the back pain was under control.
Not long after the back pain episode, Nathan all of the sudden started experiencing severe burning pain in his legs. The burning pain was every bit as bad as when he first got sick. And once again, Dr. Rhodes came through was a special protocol for burning pain. It was nothing short of astounding. My wife took Nathan to Corpus Christi, and even while they were testing for the right protocol, Nathan started feeling relief. The next day when they returned from Corpus Christi, the fire had been put out.
When the pain went into Nathan’s head it was more than a little scary. But once again Dr. Rhodes had the right protocol and saved us before it got out of hand. Dr. Rhodes even has a protocol that Nathan runs before dental work that keeps the RSDS out of his mouth.
I really can’t say enough nice things about Dr. Rhodes. He is smart, nice, and he cares. When Nathan is sick, he feels better just going to Corpus Christi because he knows Dr. Rhodes is there and Dr. Rhodes will know what to do.
And even though I am writing this testimony, any of Dr. Rhodes patients will tell you the same thing. We have met people from all over the country and even a lady from Australia that traveled to Corpus Christi. Many families have similar stories and have even been to some of the same hospitals we went to. It only took us 10 months to find Dr. Rhodes. Some of the other people we’ve met have suffered for years before finding Dr. Rhodes.
We were fortunate that Diane on the internet was adamant and told us about Dr. Rhodes. I still thank God for her in my prayers. And I thank God for Dr. Rhodes.
